At the invitation of the editor-in-chief Jonathan Vandevoorde, I wrote an article about my quest in the footsteps of Kurt Hielscher about solely Austria till now.
Spiegelungen - 28-1-2025
In June 2024 I was approached by Angela Ilic. She introduced herself as a historian from a research institute in Munich that focuses on the cultural heritage of Germans and German speakers in Southeastern Europe (Institut für deutsche Kultur und Geschichte Südosteuropas) and invited me to write a short feature. Instead, I invited her for an online meeting. It turned out she was already following my Facebookpage for quite a while. The meeting took place on June, 28th and we had a very nice conversation about the project, how I came up to it, Kurt Hielscher, his books and the history of our common region of interest: Southeastern Europe.Now I am very proud that I have a copy of "Spiegelungen, Zeitschrift für Deutsche Kultur und Geschichte Südosteuropas" in my hands. I am sure you'll find it interesting too!

Soon after my post on Bored Panda I was approached by Interez.sk, a Slovakia based newsportal for the youth.
Bored Panda - 27th of October 2020
It was amazing to receive over 4 thousand likes and nearly 300 thousand views on Bored Panda in a few days as well as an additional one and a half thousand likes on its Facebookpage. It also led to other websites and Facebookpages putting attention to Kurt Hielscher's and my work. With only a few I had contact: Bright Side and Interez.sk from Slovakia. I will note these media outlets here as well. I found spin-off from the Bored Panda post on websites and social mediaposts originating in Peru, Mexico, Vietnam, Iran, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine.
